The Summerhouse Policies and Terms & Conditions

In order for everyone to have an enjoyable stay at The Summerhouse, we suggest that you read the following guidelines carefully and comply as closely as possible.  Please be considerate of others.  Please observe quiet time between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m.

These rules are set forth for everyone's pleasure and enjoyment. We hope that you have a pleasant stay with us.

CHECK IN TIME:  4:00 p.m.                    CHECK OUT TIME:  10:00 a.m.

  • All vehicles, guests and visitors, must obtain a parking pass. Passes must be visible at all times. Unauthorized vehicles are subject to being towed. Parking passes are limited to two per unit.  If approved, large vehicles and boats may be parked but only in designated parking areas. 
  • EMERGENCY NUMBERS:

  • Fire extinguishers are located on each floor on the exterior of the building and in each unit. Smoke detectors are serviced regularly and units are equipped with automatic sprinklers for added safety.
  • All Guests over the age of 5 must wear wristbands when on any area of Summerhouse property. Failure to wear wristband will  result in removal from property.          
  • POOL AREA AND HOT TUB: Hours of operation are 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. NO SMOKING AT POOL OR UNDER GAZEBO. Please observe all rules posted. NO LOUD MUSIC. EARPHONES MUST BE USED ON ALL RADIOS. Please respect others when using pool floats and toys. DO NOT THROW ITEMS. Children must be accompanied by an adult and dressed in appropriate swimwear, NO DIAPERSChildren under the age of 15 are NOT allowed in the hot tub, even with adult supervision. No glass containers, food or beverages allowed in the spa or immediate pool area.  
  • Please do not leave towels on pool lounges in an attempt to reserve for later use. Any towels left unattended for a period of time will be removed. We have ample space around the pool area and on the beach for sunbathing. Please do not place towels, lounges, etc. in grassy areas.
  • All gazebo/tent structures placed on the beach must be erected behind the rental chairs/umbrellas. These structures are not allowed in front of the rental chairs. Any item/structure left on beach between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. are subject to be removed, per county ordinance.
  • TENNIS AND RACQUET BALL COURTS: Obtain keys from office. Regulation shoes are required. Racquets and balls are furnished and can be signed out in office. Courts close at 10:00 p.m.
  • TRASH CHUTES are located on each floor. Do not leave garbage on the walkways or landings. Residential trash only, construction materials and/or large cardboard containers are NOT allowed in trash chutes. Trash chutes are located past the elevator in both “B” and “C” buildings and near the “05” units in “A” building.
  • Please do not allow children to play on elevators. Misuse of the elevator could result in forfeiture of the security deposit.
  • Bicycles should be stored in racks under the stairwells on the ground floor of “B” and “C” buildings. Motor bikes, roller blades, hover boards, and skateboards are prohibited on the property.
  • Charcoal grills are not allowed anywhere on property, under the fire laws.
  • Please do not hang towels or clothing from the balconies or walkway railings. 
  • Please do not feed seagulls from balconies or walkways
  • All units at Summerhouse are individually owned and are furnished for your use and enjoyment. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE towels, glassware, flatware, etc. from the units. An inventory is provided and is checked by the housekeeper upon your departure before deposit is returned.
  • Pets are NOT permitted on property. 
  • Vandalism is punishable by law. Anyone caught vandalizing the property will be reported to law enforcement.
  • PLEASE DO NOT LITTER – No glass containers are allowed outside of the individual units.
  • Anyone detected throwing any object from a balcony, walkway or other area construed to be hazardous and harmful to the safety and welfare of all guests, owners and visitors, will be subject to eviction and arrest under the provision and penalties as provided in the Florida Statues.
  • CHECK OUT PROCEDURE:  Please load dishwasher and dispose of all trash and garbage. Please bring your keys and wristbands to the rental office after you have removed all of your personal belongings from the unit. Failure to comply with the check-out procedures may result in forfeiture of the security deposit. Please observe check out time of 10:00 a.m.
