Celebrate the New Year on the coast with the annual Beach Ball Drop in Panama City Beach on December 31, 2023.
Start your 2023 off on the right foot by celebrating the New Year while you're at the beach. The annual Panama City Beach Ball Drop will take place December 31st, 2023 at Pier Park with lots of fun for the entire family. The evening will start at 5:30pm with activities for the kids including face painting and stilt walkers. The celebration will continue at 8pm when there will be a countdown for the kids and 10,000 beach balls will be dropped. Let the kids ring in the New Year and still make it home for bedtime!
Adults can stick around through the rest of the evening for live music leading up to midnight when we say goodbye to 2022 with a bang! An incredible fireworks show will adorn the sky as an 800-pound, giant beach ball drops down on the celebration tower just as the clock strikes midnight.
