INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar and body wash. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

First, we love staying at the Summerhouse and have been doing so every year for quite a while. We have stayed in several of the rental units over time and usually enjoy each one of them. We stayed in 313C a week or so ago and it was very nice. There were a couple of things that could have been better. One, the "throw" rug in the living area needs to have a slip-proof backing as it was very awkward to walk on it without slipping. Could be "dangerous" for older folks whose balance is not good. The other thing was the bedding in both bedrooms. "Tired" would be a pretty good way to describe it. The mattresses in the guest bedroom could easily be replaced as they sag pretty badly. The sheets, pillow cases, pillows are sadly in need of an upgrade as they are well passed their lifespan. Now, I am giving an honest evaluation in hopes that it is helpful, rather than just being critical! We would stay in 313C again, even if these things had not been upgraded.

The Summmerhouse always does a fine job for us. Right on the Beach and just outside of the Hub Bub of the strip. The Units are always just what we expect, clean and up to date.

Unit is nicely renovated with a nice beachy charm. Beds were very comfortable, too. Had an issue with the locks, but management and staff were right on it. Grounds look awesome! Highly recommended!

My family loved this place. I’m not sure why there are bad reviews. We thought it was up to date, very clean, plenty of everything we needed, super comfy beds. The grounds were clean, easy beach access, two pools. We plan to stay here again. Highly recommend.

We had an enjoyable visit and look forward to our next stay at the Summerhouse.
We had a good stay, the only complaints I have is there were some things that need to be fixed and some outlets didn’t work. Also the throw Rugs really need to be replaced or don’t have them at all. They were just so dirty. Also the hot water didn’t last to long while taking a shower, and for me when you walk in a condo it’s nice to smell that the rooms and bathrooms smelled like they have been clean but it didn’t smell like it had been cleaned like others condos we have stayed at in the past when you walk in. So it make me wonder how clean it really was. Also the ceiling needs to be dusted the one in the master bedroom had a lot of dust on it. But other than those few things we had a pretty good stay.
