Summerhouse 1115C

We had a really good stay, with the exception of check in. Ou room was not ready until after 5pm. Also, 0when we got to our condo, cleaning staff was everywhere. One lady was even was making coffee? They could not understand us, so communication was awkward. Also, for the price of this condo wrap, please add more furniture to the deck. A table and chars for outside eating.would be nice.

Unit 1115C is impressive. Well stocked. The owner takes great pride in all her units (5 Stars). One of the best owners to rent from. The pool was too cold to get in because the heater was not scheduled to be turned on until November.

We've stayed at the Summerhouse for nearly 30 years. The property is very well maintained and is landscaped beautifully. The gazebo is a huge draw for us providing a break from the sun. Most of the staff is very friendly and clearly works hard. The day we arrived, the front desk people were not welcoming, and that is unusual. Maybe we followed an unpleasant encounter. Tasha was not there, and she is always patient and extremely helpful in person and over the phone.The unit we stayed in was very well furnished and the furniture and kitchen were in good repair. We didn't have to buy any kitchen supplies for a change. There are some water issues that we requested service on - leaks under sinks and from the fridge. These didn't get repaired while we were there, but hopefully they will get addressed for the good of the unit. The maintenance staff did come to replace some light bulbs at our request.The balcony could use a lounger, and TV could be upgraded to a Smart TV or HDMI at least, but these are small things.We would happily stay in this unit again. We know we'll be back to the Summerhouse.

We ran into the place by accident an haven't stayed any where else since-got the opportunity to meet Ms.Grace super sweet lady.Hope to be able to come back again.The wrap view is like no other-amazing!

The rental was awesome. Clean except the balcony. It was really dirty and made your feet black then tracked back in. The stand up shower really needs some work and a real good cleaning. It was slimy in some places on floor and walls. There were brown stuff in the corners. I know all this sounds bad but it was a really nice place and had anything in the kitchen you would need. Staff was always helpful if we met them in the elevator or in the halls.

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE Summerhouse. This is our 4th time coming back and we wouldn't stay anywhere else.The condo, the staff, and all the amenities are amazing.Our grandkids love coming with us!! that says it all right there FOR US!!!!!

The Summerhouse is a very relaxing place and very well kept for a older facility. Well maintained.

Our family has stayed at Summerhouse for many years. The condo 1115C Was lovely, accommodating, and very relaxing. The balcony had several wonderful chairs and rockers. The decor was beautiful and we were able to view the beach from a wonderful site.The only changes I would say to improve on are, fix the ice maker, buy some softer pillows for both bedrooms. Also, the King mattress was too hard. I slept some nights on the reclining sofa. Other than the mattresses the condo was wonderful. Maybe consider investing in new bed mattresses.Also, office worker Rachel was very rude and kept calling stating I owed more money. She definitely was not the usual courteous office help that we have experienced in the six years we have been vacationing at Summerhouse. Our entire family goes every year and we love staying there.

Was not happy with first unit for various reasons. The manager Penny happily assigned us to another wrap that was beautiful in every way. The staff was outstandingly efficient and very friendly. We are planning on returning next year. We have learned that when traveling nothing is perfect most of the time, however the manner in which our issue was corrected was awesome! Thanks Penny!

This unit, 1115C, has a severe roach problem. We slept with the lights on and the drawers and cabinets open all 6 nights. So many roaches! It was disgusting. Had to throw out all of our opened food. Constantly, wiped the counter tops. Not a pleasant stay and we have it rented again in May. We complained many times. A Summerhouse man sprayed twice but didn't do a thing. A lady said she would call Terminex but we never saw them. We have been staying at The Summerhouse for at least 25 years and have never had a problem. I am so disappointed in our spring break trip. On our departure day, I was trying to leave it very neat as I usually do. However, I opened the drawer and there were 2 roaches staring at me. I just left it. Called the office and told them I wasn't doing another thing and leaving. I am so disappointed that nothing was done or offered to make our stay right. We haven't heard a thing from them about this issue. I do hope the owner is aware of this and takes measures to correct the problem. It would be nice to hear from the owner. I know there are people there this week and I feel so sorry for them. The unit is lovely minus the roaches. I understand new appliances have been ordered which there were some problems with the dishwasher and refrigerator. I didn't mind those issues though. Wondering what to do about our May reservation????? Hoping to receive and adjustment in cost.
